Doubt it's a mass production tourist stein. It's been in my family since before 1905 when the 1st came to this Country.

I know it's a Germsheid. It has GK at the base of the handle. From research this is one of his earlier character steins. The GK was one of two that were on special character steins. I just don't know what year this is or its approximate value.

The stein is indeed by Girmscheid. According to The Beer Stein Library, in good condition with the original lid, the value would be $100-$150. Without the lid, the value would tumble dramatically.
