This one is about 3 feet tall. Kinda rough but not bent or badly damaged. Got from my uncles barn. He said it was from the 1950's I'm not sure of that. It may be a little later, like the early 1960's. Wished the painters hadn't got paint all over my thermometer sign. Oh well, anyway... good help has always been "hard to find".

1950's thermometer, in excellent condition it would be worth about 550.00.
Thanks for the info. I just wished all the times the building was painted where this thermometer was hung, that the painters had done a better job and weren't so damn sloppy. What would something in this shape be worth? Just curious in case I ever sold it. (yea right, me sell something? not possible...)
Commonly referred too as the cigar thermometer because of it shape.
LOOK @ the very top under the 130* mark. that number is ure date. I have one simular. Its called the cigar shaped thermometer. myne says "drink" Coca-Cola "In bottles" Myne is from 1949. The diff. lettering will give you an age indication. nice piece. I love myne too!<3
I have an identical one that is marked 49 for 1949. Another on line at Ruby Lane from Cullman, Al. for a 1948 is priced at $695.00. I hope to see how much I can recieve for mine.
