    Green metal trunk. Says Salembier 11 Melbourne Australia. Not sure the year this was made. Has metal handles. Might turn it into a coffee table. Needs some TLC. Also says R.H.M.S. Britanis on the trunk.

      Go to www SS. Maritime .com/Britanis for a lengthy 5 part history of the SS. Britanis.From what I can tell this trunk probably traveled on the ship somewhere between 1971 to 1974 during the fourth renaming of the ship.(Leaving out of SouthHampton Feb21.1971 Maiden round the world departure)Ship Passenger manifests and further research could help to find owner/places and dates. 1st ss. Montery, 2nd ss.Matsonia, 3rd ss.Lurline,4th Britanis,Sank in 2000 as the 5th ss.Belofin-1. good luck with it and welcome to the site.
