I have a dozen or better of different types of manuals put out by the federal government informing the public about everything from how to build your own nuclear bomb/fallout shelter with complete plans and materials list. Others are the evacuation routes for this particular city. (Jacksonville Florida) to numerous other things such as stations to listen to for instructions on news and details to other tasks such as purifying your own drinking water etc. These books are as creepy as they are cool. But at the height of the "cold war" (most of these are dated 1958 & '59) this was info everyone wanted & needed. I have read them all and they are very informative to say the least. "Check out" the "checklist" in pic number 3. Very scary period, in those times.
