This lamp sat in the back entrance hallway of my grandparents' house, next to a big armchair and I remember loving seeing the globe lit. My mother revealed she never cared for it much and thought about selling it. It was made by a company called Frankart, Inc. I have seen others which are similar, but never one with a clear globe quite like this.

The lamp is a Frankart model L235. The original ball like yours was produced by Pairpoint. Many of them you see for sale have replacement balls which are Chinese and not have the cleanly aligned controlled bubbles. Great piece of Art Deco by an iconic designer. The design is by Aurthur Von Frankenberg.

      A real treasure for sure.
