These kits were first released in 1964 and made until 1968. Polar Lights reissued it in the late 90s. I believe the original molds were lost in a 1970s train crash so they had to recast the pieces. Most of the sampler pieces were in Kit #1 and the larger such as the vulture, mad dog/werewolf, and the larger bats are from #2. I have the boxes around somewhere.

Just right for Halloween.
Interestingly, Halloween has traditionally been of little importance here in Oz, but in the last decade or so we have been inundated with shops full of stuff for Halloween and the populace has responded by buying. It is much more of an event now for the under 20s at least. I guess some of what I think is disposable crap will one day be highly collected!!
