As far as I can tell it is a WELCH grandmother mantel clock. If I move the hands manually, it chimes on the half hour and hour.... But it has no key to set it!!! It doesn't have a mark on it ... And I've lovec it since I was a little girl!!!

I can help you with this. You have a Welch Wood Cased "Mantel Clock". The model came from their Assortment A and is referred to the No. 1 from circa 1900. They were marketed this way for shipment to retailers so clocks in "Assortment A" were paced six in a case with one of each pattern. All Oak or three Oak and three Walnut. It's hard to see much detail in your photo. You *may* have a walnut case but I could be wrong. I don't see the prominent grain pattern that one expects to see with Oak. Hope that helps solve your mystery. If so, please indicate "Mystery Solved" in your listing. If not, please ask whatever questions you may have. Thanks for sharing your heirloom.

Now all I need is a key to set it properly.... Wasn't sure what was taped to the bottom, looked like a kilt pin... Only to find out it was the pendulum!
      Pretty sure it's oak....
      Thanks so much!

Any local clock shop and provide you with a key that fits.
If you measure the distance between the opposing sides of the winding arbors (the square end upon which the winding key fits) you can determine the appropriate sized key which can then be purchased off of a site like eBay.
Here are the measurements in millimeters:

All sizes in mm starting from small to large
      Key size........ American............ Swiss
      5/0.................. 1.6...................1.25
      4/0.................. 1.8 ..................1.5
      3/0.................. 2.0.................. 1.75
      2/0.................. 2.2.................. 2.0
      0...................., 2.4 ..................2.25
      1..................... 2.6.................. 2.5
      2..................... 2.8.................. 2.75
      3..................... 3.0.................. 3.0
      4..................... 3.2...................3.25
      5..................... 3.4.................. 3.5
      6..................... 3.6.................. 3.75
      7..................... 3.8.................. 4.0
      8..................... 4.0.................. 4.25
      9..................... 4.2.................. 4.5
      10................... 4.4 ..................4.75
      11................... 4.6.................. 5.0
      12................... 4.8.................. 5.25
      13................... 5.0.................. 5.5
      14................... 5.2.................. 5.75
      15................... 5.4.................. 6.0
      16................... 5.6.................. 6.25
      17................... 5.8.................. 6.5
      18................... 6.0.................. 6.75
      19................... 6.2.................. 7.0
      20................... 6.4.................. 7.25
      21................... 6.6.................. 7.5
      22................... 6.8.................. 7.75
      23................... 7.0.................. 8.0

As far as regulating the movement is concerned, you probably need to adjust the length of the pendulum bob by turning the rating nut clockwise or counter-clockwise to speed up or slow down the clock.
