I am not too sure as what this gadget started its life some decades ago but I believe it might have been used in a bathroom to hold face towels. It is made of some sort of metal with a gold finish, has a marble base, and a large glass "bead".

If anyone knows what it really was, I would very much appreciated to hear from you.

When I saw it I thought right away that this artifact could hold and organize some of my jewelry. What I like about it is that I can actually see every piece.

    Thanks for looking:)
