    I think some of the greatest artists took penmanship classes with doctors! Please help me make out who the artist is. Thank you for looking and admiring! I think it is a French artist because it says efrene d' artiste which I think means artist's proof? Help!

      Épreuve d'artiste is print out of trade for the painter or the engraver of the lithography. There may exist several but un-numbered.
      The subject seems to be children playing in Luxembourg or Tuileries garden in Paris.
      A better pic of the writing and signature will help, plus the back...

      Anyway, very nice!
