I have this dark black in color mug I think.I don't know anything on this except that I have had it more than thirty years now. Its 6" high and the base is 2 5/8 wide. the mug part has no seam but, the handles do and im unsure if the mug is truly black or not or just residue. I have no idea of age or if is a copy or not.

   Is this glass or ceramic? Is it painted? Is it marked? I don't know how old/young you are, but in the antiques/collectibles world, 30 years isn't terribly old. Where did you get it - it mus have some meaning for you to have kept it. It is not a mug, but appears to have a cork stopper - perhaps a liquor bottle/decanter -- perhaps just a black glass vase. More info needed...

   its glass far as i know. no marks on it as i can see. i found it whn i was child dign in the dirt in the back yard.i realy don t expect it to be more thn a glass jug. n im 39yrs old
