Hello all, I walked into an antique shop and saw this glorious cabinet and wanted it immediately, regardless of price! I ran over and it was on hold. The shop owner called the person who put it on hold to see if they still wanted it-- he hadn't spoken with them for two weeks, anyway, she still wanted it, but he took my number and called and said she did get it. Bummer! I keep telling myself it wouldn't have looked that good in my kitchen anyway--that's called cognitive dissonance reduction. Thanks for looking! Julie

You will find another. These step back cupboards are readily available in most areas and from what I have seen these larger pieces are not as appealing as they used to be, so prices are very reasonable.
Don't feel the need to rush into the next one you see.
Look for quality/ originality/ price and you'll eventually find a great one.
