These were given to me by a friend before he passed away. He told me they were his father's and he trusted me with them. He ask me not to sell them. I've had them about 12 years now. I thought this would be a good time to find out what they are and what they stand for. With all the knowledge on here I know someone knows all about them. I think this would make him happy! I know nothing about what you are looking at. I just know there some type of military medals.

I believe the third piece is a placard for the oxygen system of a plane, the company "Messier" is French they build landing gear & brakes, but possibly built other systems as well. It could have been taken from a French airplane as it is dated 8/39.
It refers to the high & low pressure of the oxygen.
Thank you walksoftly for the love and the information on the last item!
Michael
Always happy to help.
What intrigues me is what the significance of that piece was to your friends Father.
