I have had this lamp for 20 years; probably bought it at a thrift store, which are numerous in my area of Florida. I have not been able to locate a mark on it, except in the electrical area there is an imprint, "S.S.N.Y." It's sturdy and I think it is made with a good quality of brass. The scrolling on the base and lamp shade tops match; that, and the fact that the shades and base are covered with leather, has always intrigued me. The leather on the shades has shrunk at some seams and I've thought of coloring those areas black, but haven't, nor have I ever polished it, in case that would hurt restoration. I'd really like to know who made this lamp because it is of beautiful workmanship.
