I don't know much about this set. I inherited it from a friend of the family who loved to entertain and loved beautiful things. She traveled worldwide and had a nice collections of porcelain from Germany.
If anyone knows anything about the set (name of pattern, date of manufacture, etc.), I would love to learn more about it!
This mold pattern first appeared in trade catalogues in 1910, and was discontinued around 1915. The outbreak of the First World War in 1914 made importing goods from Germany very difficult (and unpopular), so very little RS porcelain made its way to North America during this time period. The Schlegelmilch company doesn't seem to have named their transfer patterns. Catalogues gave brief descriptions of the décor, but no consistent names were used. It's nice to see so many matching pieces that have remained together for the last century.
Looking at your set again, I think it's actually a tea set. I have posted a picture of a chocolate pot and some matching pieces.
