Hence I have a little party. It's not just my 490 th jewelery that I place on CW to day . But I'm there to get some for my new passion too (besides Micro Mosaic jewelry) namely my latest acquisition an Iron Berlin bracelet. A new Cast iron bracelet made in Germany in early 1800's depicting Psyche (clasp) and Minverva (every part). I think the pictures say enough.
You see this message from a very enthusiastic collector !!

In my search and quest which figure depicted in the cameo I found already two one of the kind cameos. One in the book: Cut steel and Berlin Iron Jewellery of Anne Clifford p. 74 a picture of Two hair ornaments Incorporating iron cameos in the Birmingham City Museum. THE CAMEO MIDDLE OF THE THIS PICTURE (SEE PHOTO) IS IN MY OPINION THE SAME AS THE CAMEO AT THE CLASP OF THIS BRACELET. According to the description of a Berlin Iron cameo from another bracelet this profile depicting PSYCHE (mythology). (Psyche is a female person of Greek mythology. Psyche was a princess and had two sisters. She was the beloved of Eros (or Cupid).
Most probably the other very little cameos in the bracelet are pictures of (Sulis) Minerva.
