In order to help identify your clock, please provide the following:

Any and all information printed, stamped or labeled on the dial, movement, case, pendulum and key. This includes names, trademarks, serial/model/patent numbers and dates.

Measurements of the dial and case. Please take measurements at the longest, widest, and deepest points only.

Well lit close-ups of the dial, movement and any distinctive decorative feature(s) or labels.

Please note if the case appears to have a simulated or "faux" finish.

Any provenance information. You say it was given to you, did the previous owners give you any information on how they obtained it?

This information will be very helpful, but it still may not lead to a definitive model or date.

The wooden clock case is 17.5 inches wide, 8 inches high and 5.5 inches deep. The diameter of the dial is 6.5 inches. I also noticed that I can make out Van and then 2 or 3 faint letters that have been worn off on the wood behind the dial. Other than that there are no other markings on the clock movement or pendulum. I do not have the original key for the clock. The case is actual wood not simulated.
