All I know is that the knifes brand is super flex as seen on blade it's made in France. I found the knife in a box full of my grandfathers items. I need some help or info about it the only other one I have seen is on eBay and its in really bad condition I'm not trying to sell it's a memento, not sure of its history or even how my grandfather obtained the blade or where it's from other than the indication of where it's made info would really help thanks

It's a Jim Bowie style. Can't tell how large. Bowies were big knife. Lots of stag handles, slab handled knife were made in europe: i.e. France, germany etc and were sold in multitudes everywhere. Probably not a super valuable collector or brand name. Do not polish buff or clean.
