Does anyone know what this pin is. It has 3 baby rings hanging on it.
it has 6 Crystals on it and one baby ring has a crystal ,one ring is plain and the other has a missing stone. measures 2 in. across.
Back of pin is plain no markings.
An early version of a mothers' ring? But back in the day, the mothers' had too many kids, therefore, too many rings to hang. So they decided to put one ring with lots of stones instead!
I really don't know, but that sure sounded good!!! (Sorry, I couldn't stop my fingers from typing that)!

Hi Cindy! Okay, it is vintage as opposed to antique based on the clasp/catch style. It looks like stamped brass, maybe 1940's (a guess). Maybe share was correct, something symbolizing children-just can't understand why one wouldn't have a stone? Do the stones match the ones on the brooch? Or look like birth stones maybe?
May be ripley! It sounds like one ring never had a stone at all?
Took a picture of the rings at closer look theres no stone in any of the rings. Asked a lady at a jewelry store but she didn't know what it was and said it looked like it was made of what she called pot metal. She did say it was old.
Hi again Cindy, if the jeweler said pot metal, then I'm sure true. Don't no why this design? Hmmm...
