This wonderful necklace is British, in revivalist style, with a bit of a medieval touch but clearly Arts and Crafts. The central MoP is huge, and the moonstones have a lovely purplish hue. I simply love it. Unfortunately there is no maker's mark on it. But thanks to the CW community, it may be attributed to Amy Sandheim.

Amy Saindheim for sure. I have same work on big amber pendant. Interesting the little squiggle on the back. I've not seen that on her work before.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jewels1900!! I hadn't thought of Amy Saindheim as a possibility... that would mean though that it's more like 1920s, right? I'd love to see your amber pendant, by the way.

Lovely piece, what are the dimensions? Agree Amy Sandheim is a strong contender, and I too would like to see Jewels1900's amber one.

If it was Saindheim, then it would be inter-war. She was a prolific maker in this style.

Yok, posted a photo of the amber pendant.

Thanks kiwipaul for the comment. The size is big: 5cm long by 5.5c, across, and 8cm from the connector piece. Jewels1900, I thought that Sandheim's pieces were a bit more colorful and ornate, perhaps it's an early work?

Lovely Item, I've started to buy jewellery to leave for my daughter, I don't have a great budget but finding beauties like this is my dream.. I found a similar one, the opal I mean, set with a gorgeous amethyst ...and yours is surrounded with my other favourites, moon stones..how devine, you must adore wearing it...

Thanks for your kind comment, Anne. I'm sure with patience you will be able to find some beautiful pieces for you and your daughter to enjoy, and I hope you'll share them in CW.

Hi Belle, I hope you are well & finding treasure. My hubby just came back from London & bought me home a new Saindheim pendant in a similar shape to yours. Amethysts, moonstone & foiled moonstones.
