Hey, how about a top 10 ... You might see one of these in a thrift, worth picking up if you do ....
Sure thing Eye4, I'll set up a collection category for top 10 to look for. Btw, any Mickey that has the Seiko brand iks a goodie, price is always towards the premium on the "Bay" Men's version bring more , but the women's don't slack much.
Lorus? Or maybe even a character watch ... I saw tinkerbell the other day ...
lots of Lorus's out there, top pick for a Lorus, would be a 17 Jewel Automatic with clear back and open see thru dial. and then the early Lorus Automatic with standard Mickey face. Both are goodies.
Eye4, safe bet on any "character" watch, is if it's a mechanical movement, worth, picking up at the Thrift Store, As far as quartz movements, look for a solid name, "Seiko, Wittanear,,Pulsar, ect.
Pocket watches are a good grab, but lately a lot of fakes floating around.
I'll try to put something together.
Thanks ...
