This was bought from the US Mint in 2008. It is called a "Celebration Coin," the Moy Family Chop, and I have never seen another for sale. It is listed in the July issue of Coin Magazine under this title, and the COA from the mint, as well as the original listing of the coin in the Mint's online catalog also refer to it. I'd be interested in anyone having info about this coin, mintage numbers, value, and other general info I do not have to comment on this. Thanks for the opportunity to let me show off a truly unique piece I am lucky to store in a bank vault.

I bought this coin for $1018.00 from the Mint. I have seen it sold on ebay from $5,000 to over $10,000. There were about 3,000 minted and designated as the Moy Chop Mark. The celebration coin was lost due to the Mint's production of the Lucky 888's coins that year. This is the Buffalo coin to own, given its low mintage and the rare nature of the coin itself. Anyone lucky enough to have one is blessed.
