Is it flatware or medical utensil,or.... Patent Feb 7 1911 also "Panccast" or "Pancoast" I honestly don't remember how I acquired this. I believe I inherited it from someone. I thought it was unusual so I held on to it. Its about 6 inches long with small tines in an inlaid area (about an inch and one half). Unusual twist in the neck that I believe adds strength.

good one TA; just providing the patent info to confirm your ID : ) slight difference is the lack of the twist in the patent. Proper eating etiquette was so difficult back then; still can't really figure out how this thing would really work...

that is such bad etiquette; one should never have to actually touch the food with your hands ; ) For this instrument to be acceptable one also needs a corn cob holder to use with it...
