Wondering if this is a legit item or reproduction.

Very nice decor piece , it was made to look old ,not so much a repro as I have never seen this exact one as a original vintage piece so I would say a artists creation and produced for decor .

It is a modern decorator piece.

These are the type of item sold at Hobby Lobby and similar stores.

They are popular, inexpensive and used to enhance room decor when original antiques are too pricey.

Cindb-- Hobby Lobby certainly has some interesting items.

On the secondary market though, their items are often sold and mistakenly bought as antique by new/ inexperienced collectors who think they have found a great bargain. A search on CW will show many examples.

      Caveat emptor!
