Pair of Garuda - Vishnu's Mount and Confidante

Very old pair of boxes in gilt gold Garuda - Phoenix - Mount of Vishnu. These are in beautiful condition, and soo beautiful - to me. Wonderful, firey stylized phoenixes - from Urban Ore today. These are wood and gilt metal. I believe they are from Indonesia - which has Garuda as it's national symbol. Any symbol which can unite [even for a moment] people who speak 1500 languages and live on 2000 different islands, is a very powerful symbol.
