    I have no idea what this one is for - maybe a house jack? but i really like this one. can anyone enlighten me on what it's for and when it was made? thanks!

      i think it does say Joyce Cridland on the base. i don't know anything about them.

      Search Joyce Cridland Co Dayton Oh History.

      They started making jacks in 1873. The company is now called Joyce-Dayton
