I would like to know the value of this clock. It has been given to me something like 25 years ago and we only used it for the basement for a little while. We like it a lot but don't know much about it.
It's from The New Haven Clock Co.. On the front, I can read ELM CITY. and ELECTRIC under it. It's made of wood with a dark oak finish. The front of the clock opens itself and there is a starter. It has a short electric cord at the back.
    Thanks for any information.

I was unable to find info on this clock. The clock man didn,t think there was anything extra valuable about my clock.

I heard without the starter that was around 1940, with the starter, was before 1940, even the 1920s.
Is there anyway to pinpoint within a few years the year of a clock with the starter ?

Are there any clock experts out there that know what the color of the second hand would be back in the 1920s or 30s ??
