Hello,
I've had this for years, a beautiful tankard, and now am trying to figure out just what the engraving is all about.
I had another piece given to F. E. Becker, of Johore, Malaysia.
Do you suppose that this is also from Malaysia?,
what sport do you think the " ROSS CUP " was awarded for, and
who is the No.1 Platoon?

Sorry for all the questions. I was able to find the silver mark, for Barker Brothers.

British Military presence in Malaysia in that time period, they most likely played rugby or cricket.
I came up empty in my searches though.
