Does anyone any info on this antique zenith long distance radio model no.N115710?
Year made?
Historical info?
Etc..........
Of note:
This radio actually works. Tunes in stations. Sound is decent. Even the radio dial lights work. I really enjoy working on these radios, lot a fun.

I am wondering if the number that you see is a "Chassis Number" that references only the component that it is attached on. I have only worked on a few and recall that that Model number are generally a paper label on the back of the cabinet, and or sometimes can be found on the both the inside and outside. Unfortunately, backs are sometimes missing or the labels fall off..
It very closely resembles the Model 9-S-54 made around 1936.

Oh, forgot to mention, this website has a huge library of technical manuals for radios, TV and other items. SAMs manuals have been around since the late 40's and was the GO-TO people for all TV and radio shops long before the internet...
