These are some Glass Christmas Ornaments that I've had for about 25 years; I don't know much about them as they have no name on them. They are very heavy glass that look like blown glass with some cut glass details.

No I didn't buy them new; we found them while cleaning out an old storage unit in an apartment. I've never seen any like them since. They have brass (I think) with twisted wire for hanging. We think they where decorations for the upscale apartments.
They are the size of a baseball and very heavy

Hi, hmmm, anything I say will just be a guess on my part...I will say they are nice quality ornaments. I was thinking they are not much older than the 25 years as per when you found them, but remember, just a guess. I love them and I hope someone can confirm for you :)
Really pretty! I wonder just what kind of tree they actually hung on??? I mean they even look heavy so the weight would pull the whole branch downward. I suppose it would have to be placed inward, but seems like you wouldn't be able to enjoy the beauty then...
