I wanted to know if anybody knew any information on this type of gumball machine, it was inherited from a cafe in Nowata and as far as I know it is at least 20 years old but that is a guess. It stands 63 inches tall with a quarter slot. That is about all I know of it. Thanks for any information.

I hope I can shed a little bit of nostalgia without real technical data. I think these started showing up in the early 1970s. I don't remember them much beyond that. I remember as a kid starting to see them show up around archades and places like that. I think I remember them being called "Titan" and also remember them being called "Jumbo" gumball machines. I remember them being full of really large gumballs, 2" or so in diameter. I saw them around through my pre-teen and teenage years in the early to late 1970's, and still around during the 1980s. Started disapearing I remember when arcades started disapearing. Hope this might help get you started on research for accurate info.
