I picked this little pot up at the Alameda Flea Market last week. it's unmarked but It's a really pretty little thing. It looks like it was glazed a jade green and then blue over it. the green comes through around the rim and the handles. it stands just 5 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide. it's in perfect condition. does anyone recognize the maker?

I'm about 80% sure it's Camark Pottery. If the clay is cornmeal-colored it would date production circa 1930 to mid 30s. Earlier and later clays burned to white.
Went through both Gifford Camark texts and couldn't find the form, sorry.

this does look somewhat similar to some camark pieces i saw, but the glaze is different from any other camark piece i could find. they were all just one color. this one is hard to see in the pics, but it really does have two different glazes on it. it also looks older by the wear on the base although that could just be use. ??
It would be unusual to find overlaid glazes on a camark vase. Solid or two distinct colors are the norm. Is it possible the green you're seeing is just clay reveal through the thinner areas of the glaze. Camarks "cornmeal" clay is unique in that it has tiny black or dark brown flecks in it. Thought I saw those in the clay on the setting ring?
thanks for the reply art.pottery. no, there is definitely a green glaze w/ a blue overglaze. the photo doesn't show it well. will try to get a better shot later.
