Hello, I found this mirror you have because I was doing a search for mine..i'm hoping we can help each other.,if you have information Please let me know too..I did some research based on what I see...The "Japanese" lady is standing on a rattle snake..so i did research on the symbols..Arobic and Egyption symbols for snake..closer to Arobic. I bought it from an estate auction..so I know it is worth looking into...Yes Asian antique is most likely too..I'm also researching mirror with foil ..yes could be gold not sure if real gold or how old. but took mine apart and the lady is in plastic taped to the back of the mirror probably just gold leafed. Thanks let me know what you find too...Priscilla
