This is such a pretty little thing! Only 1 1/4" , but she has a few secrets....the face crystal is hinged, and when it is open you can see a beautiful white enamel face, and the EXQUISITE detail on the hands...turn over and the hinged back opens only to reveal a secret spot for a photograph perhaps? When the interior lid is opened it reveals beautiful movements. She had me at the numeral face....now the interesting parts, on the inside of the outer lid are " 115686"...on the interior lid.." SWISS....11686... JV"....now, I assume the numbers are part numbers, or serial numbers of a kind, but the JV initials/makers mark is puzzling, and no definitive maker name, though there are hand inscribed letters and numbers that I take for a jewelers mark. The case itself could quite possibly be rose gold, but again, no mark. I at first had thought perhaps copper, but the feel is wrong to me...I cannot wait to hear what you all think! Talk soon! Regards, J NY

JV probably stands for Jaques Vorpe from Geneva in Swtzerland.
