1927 Salesman's Sample Maytag model 90 sq. tub wringer washer

This is a salesman's sample of a Maytag Model 90 "Gyrafoam" wringer washer with a square tub.
They were presented only to dealers with an exceptional sales record. This made them coveted and desirable by all Maytag dealers.
The first photo shows a soft drink can to give you an idea as to how big they were.
It is made of aluminum, as were the full size Maytag Square tub model "90" washers. It is meticulously detailed to resemble the full size model, down to the attached drain hose, the agitator, and the working wringer. The model "90" is the 1927 model with an electric motor, and if it had a gasoline engine to power it, the washer was referred to as the model "92"...... hotairfan
