    Exterior pictures: A recent trunk Acquisition(Thanks, Thunder!Your the best.) A refinishing of a Headly & Farmer Trunk. Canvas was stripped,Hickory slats were stained- Gunstock Gel stain - base was done in Amber clear coat Shellac- Trim banding is Black hammered finish. Slat clamps Black Gloss, Nails all polished and clear coated.(Eventually they will patina under the clear coat,I love that look) Coats of clear Varnish over every thing. This trunk found a new home with a co-worker who needed room for his new brides shoes.I customer out the interior to,will post pics. Fun to give away to someone who will use it again.

      Actually I rushed BB2, to get it done before the holiday .I have others that need doing so back to work I guess. I did take a few short cuts on this one and would have done more if not pressed for time.Thanks for the kind words pal.

      I just bought what appears to be the same trunk today at an auction and am looking for some more advice about where to go to get something like this restored or at least reupolstered. I'm also interested in get the leather handles replaced since the one I have all of the leather is basically gone. Thanks in advance!
