    The bottle is 11 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the oval diameter its also 3 inches deep. It has been in the family many years. It came with some liquer and some kind of petrified fruit. The people who gifted it were Italian.
    Sorry the pictures came out upside down.

      I feel like I have had one to many....but! what puzzles me is!!!...how does the bottle appear upside down and the photos in the background ...the right way up???...:-/

      My first guess would be it's a "Mateus" wine bottle

      In the second pic, the pic of two kids is sitting on a widow sill. The face that looks right side up is of a child laying on his back looking at the camera. The smaller face next to him is right side up in the pic, and upside down in this posts...... :-)

      In the first pic, there are two upside down faces between the slats of the chair. they are right side up on the window sill....
