This is Coco. I've owned him for 40 years. I have never seen anything like him. I'm trying to find out any information about him. He was bought in Southport, England in the mid-70's.

His face is thin plastic and is the face of an old man. He scared me to death when I was a kid, but he is my favourite possession.

Hi! Is coco marked in any way?
    2. Purdeymouse, 9 years ago
      Hi Jewels.

He isn't unfortunately. He has a zip which says Aero, which I haven't heard of before.

I sent photos of him to the Museum of Childhood in London. They have never come across this clown before.

Hi, was he new when you bought him in the 70's?
    5. Purdeymouse, 9 years ago
Hi..... Yes he was. Apparently he was on display in a department store window over the xmas period and my grandma went to speak with the manager to see if she could buy him for my birthday in the January. He agreed. That's all I know. She did tell me (at the time) that Coco said to her "Buy me, buy me" hahaha. I believed her. aw.

Hi again! Aw, maybe he did. I often wonder why and how we end up with certain things :) How big is coco?
    7. Purdeymouse, 9 years ago
He's 24 inches from his bottom (sat down) to the top of his hat.

Oh he's larger than I thought! I wonder if made specifically for the store display? Do you know the name of the store,? Does it still exist?
