Hi the painting is crude I can't see mouth front on but I do see numbers on bottom when I blow it up which are mold numbers . Without holding it I am going to say Japan and it may have just had a sticker on it once saying so . Or it is made in ceramic class but they should always put their initials on it , the old mold was copied but mold is not well defined . Dates 1940's-50's . Crackling of glaze never happened on antique porcelain as I have dolls 150 years and no crazing . Cute novelty doll and just enjoy her :-)

Rose this is her 2nd post she enlarged photo for me :-) it is same one ; Good eye you caught 2 of them ! xo
wsmoni Your welcome and I thank you for closeups ! I really need to hold it but I believe homemade in a class from old mold . The painting is just to crude for factory or Japan and not very good painting they normally did better on their novelty dolls of this period .
