My latest purchase from USA a very rare Art Deco carved, Rosewood and fruit wood figure of African Nubian Bust by Lazslo Hoenig, (Hungary / England 1905-71)
Marks: LAHO England, Made in London and the Hoenig monogram, circa 1940-50 Height 23 cm. Hoenig also worked for Hagenauer before leaving Hungary for England in 1933.

One sold for 400 pounds at Bonhams London in 2012 , i purchased this on Ebay USA for $145 plus around $40 postage ( US) and i cannot believe it was up as buy it now for many weeks and no one snapped it up
We (I) just did not see it!
I think even at 400 quid it was cheap . Lazslo is yet to be fully discovered .

Thanks Guys , Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year, hope 2015 is better for all , we have had a tough year with heaps of drama in business and personal life, and to top it all off we have decided to downsize our large house and property and move to a smaller property with less garden , it also means i have to downsize my collection , both art and decorative , and downsize my book library of 7000 books( it used to be 8000) so the stress continues into the early part of 2015.
Take time over the break to breath ...
Drama happens ... hope it is smoother sailing in 2015...
