I piciked this up at the Goodwill for $7.99 the other day. I just thought it was really cool looking. There are no markings or lettering on it whatsoever. I did see another one just like it on Google images, so it isn't unique, but I wonder if it's very old? Probably not, if it was mass produced. I still like it tho.
These treen nutcrackers have a very long history in Europe and have been made over many centuries, but that's the end of my knowledge! This looks hand made to me but how old I wouldn't know - I really like it!
