    Not sure what to make of this? About 6in tall and diameter. No seems, top looks to have been cut. Art Glass piece? not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

      This is hard to call from these pics. Some aspects of it look old and some do not. It looks more like an art piece to me.
      Here is a quote from a historic bottle website.
      "Bottles that are made to look old often are exaggerated in their “handmadeness”. There are huge numbers of bubbles and impurities in the glass. The glass itself is commonly thick, heavy and distorted in shape. Early glass makers tried their best to make uniform, quality wares; modern makers try hard to make their bottles look hand blown."
      With that said, I would like to see a clear pic of the bottom.

      No apparent pontil. I agree it looks like it could be an art glass piece or a utilitarian oil lamp, made to use not for looks or style.
