This doll was given to my mother when i was in elementary school, so it was about 12 years ago. Im not sure who gave it to her but the tag was already missing so it wasnt new. When i was in high school she gave it to me. Recently i found a similar doll online and i wanted to know if they were made by the same company and if they are part of a set or collection. The first picture is my doll, the one in the pink and purple, and the other one is the one i found online, the one wearing purple and gold with red hair. Any info would be helpful because if its a collection of similar swinging clown dolls then i want to obtain all of them, or as many as i can.

You seen to know alot more about collections than i do so do you know anything about this collection or where i can find out more about it?

That is nice that is what collecting is all about. I am like that too I have a lot of items in my collection that are very sentimental to me too like my grandfathers duck decoys and my grams quilt. I think that's what started me in collecting antiques. Look to see if there are any marks around the back of the head.

Does this have a porcelain head? A better picture showing the top hanger would help too.

      Size measurements would also help.

Try "Ashley Belle Porcelain Clown Doll on a Swing"

Yeah it does have a porcelain head. Im not sure about the measurements but he is the same size as the one online which is said to beApprox. 2' 2" from head to toe. He has nothing on his head but he does have 2 holes on both sides of his neck and the swing is made of wood and the strings attached go up and attach to another piece of wood and then to a round loop that is used to hang him from the ceiling.

I tried searching Ashley Belle Porcelain Clown Doll on a Swing but all that comes up are websites like amazon. I want to know the collection name, how many different dolls were made in this collection, and other info about the doll itself like its name.

Yeah, google that "Ashley Belle Porcelain Clown Doll on a Swing" link and look at images - there are several different posted with the hanging part you described. - I couldn't find your exact clown though.

I do believe Ashley Belle is the company but they have made other clown dolls that are different. Ive found 2 that look like mine so i just wanted to know if they are all part of a special set.

I really just want to complete the set. I only want the ones that were made with the one i already have. The same height, clothing design, and face paint.
