I purchased this table over a year ago and didn't know it was convertible until I was packing it up. I have done some research off and on and have found that it is the same as one on I Love Lucy. I am wondering if anyone knows about company that produce it or the year produced.
Has brass? casters that converts from a low coffee cocktail table height to dining height and expands with the lifting of drop leaf sides becoming a 36" x 36" dining table, rectangular.
An incredible spring & hinge mechanism allows the easy raising and lowering of the table and because of the design and excellent construction, it is really not readily apparent that the table is adjustable when in either position.
Measurements:
Lowered 15.75" high
Raised 26 2/3" high
Top:
Leaves Down 36" x 20"
Leaves Up 36" x 36 1/4"

I love the coffee table you have that is similar or exact to the one from the I Love Lucy show. I have been looking for this convertible coffee/dining table for over a decade! Do you have any idea at all on where I can find one? I am desperate to find it :-) Please, any help you could give me would be so great fully excepted and appreciated.

Check out Duncan Phyfe tables. This table is a Duncan Phyfe. It has the classic curved legs with the brass caps/tops.
I have a Duncan Phyfe dining table and a living roomend table. I didn’t know they made a convertible height coffee table. But, if I run across one, at a decent price, I will buy it.
I have this same coffee table, and I'm looking to sell it. It was a wedding present for my mom and dad when they married in 1960. Now I have it. Trishk, if you're still looking for one all these years later, I have one!
