Here are some closeups of the doors and door hardware. Hopefully, someone can tell me more about this piece. The cabinet is just under 63" tall. The back side is 4 feet wide and the front (excluding the slanted sides) is 2.5 feet wide.

I think.. the style is Gothic revival.
Appears to be hand carved.
You can see chisel marks around the feet of the knights.

Oh, yeah! See, I would have never noticed the chisel marks. Does that help to identify where and when it would have been made? Also, the lettering stenciled on the back of the cabinet-would the style of the letters help identify the provenance of the piece?
I looked at the link, walksoftly. There are lots of similarities, thanks. I wonder why the finish is so much lighter than mine? Could it have been refinished? I don't believe mine has ever been touched.
Without a manufacturers name on it all you have to go on is Belgium & made for export.
The colour difference could be type & colour of stain used or simply lighting.
Thank you , Phil. When you say these cabinets incorporate much older parts like the doors, how old would they be and where would they have come from? Were these put together in Europe for export to the U.S.? I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but I don't know anything about antiques. Thanks!
I think you have a marriage of parts. All of them fairly old but not original to each other. Everything pretty much matches up until you get to the doors. The rounded corners that don't fit the opening don't add up to being original. Every other panel is square jointed and pretty much matched. That doesn't detract from the piece but I think the doors are replacements or add on's. The latch clasps also show signs of rework from what I can see. The carvings have so many imperfections they have to be hand done.
Thanks for the insight, fhrjr2. These are things I never would have noticed. When you say it's "fairly old" about how old do you think it might be?
