    We found this chair on the side of the road. My husband and I are excited to refinish it, but would love to know something more about it. No markings.

      Looks like a quality chair that has been re upholstered a couple of times!
      Is that a scratch or a crack in the side bracket in pic 3?

      Yes, a scratch. My husband sanded it out.

      I found this one in an old barn on a property where my boyfriend lived. I also seen a desk in another barn that seemed to go with it. It looked like it had been brought back to life at one time just as the chair did. Stained a darker color than chair. I would like to go get the desk/ vanity but it had no drawers thought of maybe getting baskets. Here is the pics of my chair it similar to yours. Look at the markings
