The first part is http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/144638-manuel-mujica-lainez-a-great-collector-t?in=user . In the dining room the decoration was really eclectic, the furniture was in dark oak, the chairs with pink velvet and the table looks like of local origin, while the big sideboard was similar to those you can find near the Pirineos, not sure of the French or Spanish side. It is imposible to distinguish the fine carving with fruits and flowers. Over the table the display is also a mix of Spanish very antique pottery (like the pitcher), French (the tureen) and perhaps the silver plate cutlery, some vintage glass, like the bottle that seems a Baccarat bamboo pattern. The main pieces are inside a cabinet that cannot be seen in the picture. The painting over the sideboard are wonderful, a unusual sightsee of the Castel Sant Angelo done by Raúl Soldi http://www.artistsandart.org/2010/04/raul-soldi-1905-1994-argentine-artist.html . Another one of Hector Basaldúa that are three dancing clowns http://www.fundacionkonex.org/obra-coleccion-konex-200-salon-de-tango--1956'. In the second picture you can see a bit of the salon, two Victorian chairs an small sideboard with three draws, and several religious figurines. The third is another sight of the same room with a little table also in black wood and mother of pearl, with armchairs near another fireplace and lots of portraits of the antecessors. On the right side, near the ark there is a chess table also with mother of pearl inlaid very similar to this one https://www.skinnerinc.com/auctions/2754B/lots/356 . The fourth is a big sofa in the same Victorian style that is the Patio Andaluz, immediately after the Adam and Eve door.

Incredible house and contents. I love the house itself...the beautiful marble floor, the leadlight windows and then the tiling near the sofa. Wow.

Also the tiling in the dining room is an exquisit jugendstil, and the park is wonderful
