    This trunk was just passed down to me from my grandparents. They just passed and I believe it was given to them by my great grandfather or great great grandfather. I,don't see a date on it. My family was from Peru, Indiana. The measurements are 34x17x20. Any help would be great!

      This would be a late 1890's to early 1900's flat top trunk. Trunk makers bought hardware from suppliers and built there trunks with common parts. Without a label there is no way to discern a maker unless an exact replica with a label is found, and most of these did not have labels. Nice trunk...
