However there are no lamp parts... How do I install light fixture and hang from ceiling when the interior measures 3 7/8" square? I have researched to no avail.
Anyone have an idea of this shade's history?
It had hung in my grandmother's cottage on Duck Lake in Michigan in the early 1900s.

Hi! Nice Shade! We are very near Duck Lake actually, would you like me to see what I can find out locally?

Oh, thank you but that's not necessary. I remember the lake fondly, however. The insides of the lamp are gone and I'm still looking for a way to hang it :)

This is an easy one to do drill 4 small holes one in center of each copper collar at the top of shade. From there you can use smaller brass or copper chain from each point to come up and mount to a copper or brass tubing with threaded rod inside
at the mounting point use a copper washer between the tubing with check rings. The upper rod goes to a canopy and the lower goes to a fatboy socket also with check ring. Socket could be pull chain or turn key. This is a nice shade.

You can get every thing you need for this from grand brass lighting.
