I just rescued this pair of Gunlocke chairs on the street on trash day! I would like a time line of Gunlocke designs. I think the company underwent a name change so if an item is labelled "Gunlocke" it is after 1969 and if it is labelled W.H. Gunlocke it is pre- '69. These chairs have a very nice Mid-Century Modern Danish flair to them. I wonder if the company named their chairs so that a more exact date could be given to a model? I have seen similar Gunlockes fetching very high prices now at Mid Century furniture stores.
