This is the second brooch I found yesterday and I think it might be an unmarked Sherman piece. I almost didn't buy it because the colour is very similar to a brooch I bought a few years ago.

The quality is really very good. The AB stones have a gorgeous sparkle and the setting is solid and well done. The brooch is constructed in two layers.

The condition of the piece is excellent. There is not wear on the back and the stones are in very good condition. There are some minor scratches on the stones but they are not visible to the bare eye.

The design doesn't look to me as a recent one. If I am wrong and the pin is not a Sherman piece, I still think that it is a well made item worth having. What I mean by that is that it has some quality to it and does not give the appearance of a cheap, mass-produced item.

The third and forth photo include an earring. The earring is marked Sherman and displays a very similar construction and design. I just put it there for comparison.

Any comments or suggestions are greatly welcome and appreciated.

    Thanks for looking:)

Very nice again you are Wright in it looking similar I can't get over how much of this type is on line at the moment. Hasn't Phil got some stunning pieces I have some pieces but nothing like his. Well I'll keep looking

Yes, Zowie, Phil has the real thing. I am hoping he will have a look and tell me something about my pieces. The thing is that the ones that are marked are rather expensive, but, as far as I know, there were unmarked pieces sold in some stores.
      Thanks for your comment:)

He sure is lucky I believe my clear necklace is the real piece as the person that brought it didn't by anything cheap back then he had plenty of money & didn't do anything by halves. It was brought for his ex wife. I blow him away as I'm the only female he has even known that doesn't want anything brought for. I'm the type if I don't need then why buy it. Apart from when I can buy a antique at the Wright price. A lot of my jewellery was passed down to me & when I get enough knowledge on my other articles so I will have some sort of idea of price will most probably sell them. If I'm not using to decorate our places.

Best to try to keep the stones from touching other jewellery pieces. Similar to Sherman but may be from Austria which produced many pieces using Swarovski stones and claws.

I hope he sees the ones I have on line as mine are unmarked but have stunning colours.

Looked closer at the pin, does not resemble sherman's backings at all. But a nice pin.
